Building Your Party Rental Biz the Right Way

Building Your Party Rental Biz

Building Your Party Rental Business is a blast.  And growing it will be easy.  In fact, you need to be careful that you don't grow TOO fast.

Here are a few items to watch as you grow:

DON't focus too much on sales volume and company size rather than profit.

"Too much of your management is often based on volume and size. So many

entrepreneurs want to say 'I have a company that's this big, with this many people, this

many square feet of space, and this much sales.' It's too much [emphasis] on how fast and

big you can build a business rather than how much profit it can make. Bankers and

investors don't like this. Entrepreneurs are so into creating and building, but they also

have to learn to become good Business  people.

KEEP Your Vision Simple

You can't be all things to all people.  If you want to do backyard parties, make sure you've mastered

them before moving on to corporate events.  Always follow your marketing plan for a new market to maximize

what you get out of it.  Don't jump from corporate, to church to casino nights without a plan.  You can do them

all...but plan how you're going to do it.

BUILD credit in Your Business Name and APPLY for Credit Before You Need it.

Hopefully you won't need to use credit....but it's darn hard to get it if you're having problems.

Think ahead and recognize there might be a time when you'd prefer to use other people's money.

FOLLOW a Business Formula so you ALWAYS know your Break Even Point.

As long as you know your break even point, it will be easy to stay ahead of your expenses.

These are just a few things to watch as you grow.  There are many more, but too many to list on  a web page.
